Christine Byrne is a registered dietician and has been a nutrition journalist for more than 10 years. She has previously worked as a features editor for SELF magazine as well as a senior food editor for Buzzfeed. Christine has been freelancing as a nutrition writer since 2018. Her work appears in major publications such as Glamour, HuffPost, Bon Appétit, Women's Health, The Kitchn, Health, Food Network, Cooking Light, Eating Well, Well+Good, Vice, and more.
Christine runs a private practice in Raleigh, NC, where she helps people struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. She is an anti-diet dietician, meaning she takes a non-diet and weight-inclusive approach to health and works with her clients to help them form a peaceful relationship with food.
Education
Christine received her bachelor's degree in english and creative writing from Northwestern University. She later went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, which included nutrition with registered dietician training.
